Microsoft is laying off another 9,000 employees, under 4% of its total global workforce.
The cuts affect teams across regions and experience levels, continuing a series of reductions this year.
Over 6,000 roles were axed in May, with 300 more gone last month — it’s been a rough quarter.
The company says it's flattening its structure, cutting layers between staff and top execs.
Despite massive AI investments, job trims are Microsoft’s new normal for efficiency.
X will now use AI agents to draft Community Notes, aiming to speed up fact-checking.
Notes won’t go live until multiple human reviewers from different viewpoints rate them helpful.
Developers can soon submit their own AI agents, and any model not just Grok can be used.
This opens up AI-assisted moderation to more voices, not just in-house tools.
Elon’s endgame? Decentralize truth-seeking while keeping humans in the loop.
Researchers trained a Llama-based model, Centaur, on 160 psychology studies and 10M+ choices.
In 31 out of 32 tests, it could predict human decisions better than traditional methods.
The model even worked on scenarios it wasn’t trained for, showing strong generalization.
It suggests human behavior is more structured than we thought and maybe predictable.
Centaur is open source, with plans for 4x more training mind-reading might not be sci-fi much longer.
