President Donald Trump signed an executive order launching the Genesis Mission, a sweeping federal AI program being compared to a modern Manhattan Project for scientific discovery. The goal: double U.S. research productivity within 10 years by unifying America’s fragmented scientific data, supercomputing, and experimental labs under an AI-first platform.

What Happened (Nov 25, 2025):
OpenAI has merged ChatGPT’s Voice Mode directly into the main interface — eliminating the separate “voice experience” used for Real-Time Sora demos earlier this year. Users can now switch between text, image and voice input seamlessly inside a single chat window.

What You Need to Know:

• Voice Mode now lives beside the text input bar — no more toggling between modes.

• OpenAI removed the standalone “Voice preview” UI introduced in 2024.

• The new interface supports live conversation, real-time interruptions, emotional tone, and multi-speaker scenarios.

• Works across ChatGPT 5.1 (Instant) and 5.1 (Thinking), enabling deeper reasoning in voice form.
