What Happened (Feb 2026):
Google released a major upgrade to Gemini 3 Deep Think, posting dominant benchmark results across math, coding, and science — alongside launching Aletheia, an autonomous Olympiad-level math agent.
What You Need to Know:
Deep Think scored 84.6% on ARC-AGI-2, beating Opus 4.6 (68.8%) and GPT-5.2 (52.9%), and set a new high of 48.4% on Humanity’s Last Exam.
It achieved gold-medal performance on the 2025 Physics & Chemistry Olympiads and hit a 3,455 Elo on Codeforces, nearly 1,000 points above Opus 4.6.
Google introduced Aletheia, a research agent that autonomously solves open math problems and verifies proofs; Deep Think is live for AI Ultra subscribers, with API access via early research preview.
