Step 1: Building your Power Stack

Before we get into the deep dive, here’s one hack you didn’t know you needed:

While Gamma in itself is a great tool to build a presentation from scratch, the real quality output lies in combining it strategically with other AI tools which are great at their respective areas. For example:

🔍 1. Use Gemini with Deep Research which is excellent at Research
(💡 P.S. Perplexity AI is a great free alternative for the above)
🤖 2. Claude AI for structuring the research into slides
🎨 3. Gamma AI for designing & layout, of course.

And this holds relevance for any activity you are doing. Be it creating a video, building an app, or a PPT.

Ready for a step by step tutorial for the above?

Step 2: Research & Information Gathering

Tool: Google Deep Research (paid) / Perplexity (free)

Prompt Framework: Prompt Chaining ( A technique to probe LLM on multiple questions all at once

Use this Prompt: To understand the Market Landscape.

“How large is the coffee shop market in the U.S. and Europe, and what key trends shape consumer demand in each region?”

1. Location & Demographics
“Which neighborhood or city demographics (in both the U.S. and Europe) are most conducive to a profitable coffee shop?”

2. Regional Coffee Culture
“How do cultural differences in coffee consumption (e.g., grab-and-go in the U.S. vs. café culture in Europe) impact menu and service design?”

3. Competitive Analysis
“Who are the key competitors in the target area (U.S. or European city), and how do they differentiate themselves in pricing and offerings?”

4. Menu Offerings
“Which products—espresso-based drinks, cold brew, pastries—are universally popular, and which items cater to local tastes in the U.S. vs. Europe?”

5. Supplier Networks
“What regional suppliers (in the U.S. or Europe) provide consistent, high-quality beans and ingredients, and how do costs compare?”

6. Pricing & Margins
“What profit margins are typical for coffee shops in the U.S. versus European markets, and how do currency fluctuations or taxes impact pricing?”

7.Regulations & Compliance
“Which health, safety, and licensing rules differ significantly between U.S. states and European countries, and how does that affect operations?”

8. Staffing & Labor Laws
“How do variations in labor laws, minimum wage, and tipping culture in the U.S. vs. Europe affect staffing decisions?”

9. Store Ambiance
“What interior design elements—like seating, layout, or self-service stations—appeal to customers in both quick-service U.S. formats and leisurely European café settings?”

If you use Perplexity AI, do this:

- Similar prompt structure can be used, but focus on:
- Breaking down questions into specific segments
- Requesting source citations
- Asking for recent data (within last 2 years)

👉️ Here is what we got as a response:

An extremely structured & detailed response on each question asked in just 2 minutes. Crazy, right? 🤯

Step 5: How to Present like a PRO (Bonus Step) 🎁

Now if you’re talking on a topic you’re not very well versed with, you might get stuck on some points on what to say while presenting right?

  • Is what I am saying good enough?

  • Am I conveying enough to make people understand?

  • Is it a bit too much?

You’re not alone. It happens to the best of us.

That’s why, here’s another hack no one will tell you about.

You can use Claude AI to generate speaking pointers, much like “speaker notes” in Microsoft Powerpoint.

Here’s how to go about it:

1. Upload your Gamma presentation to Claude and instantly get powerful speaking points for your deck. Here's how:

2. Use this exact prompt:

"I've shared my presentation with you. For each slide, please provide:

  • The key message I should emphasize

  • 2-3 supporting points or examples

  • Potential audience questions I should prepare for

  • Natural transitions to the next slide

Focus on making the content engaging and conversational while maintaining its professional tone."

3. Use Claude's analysis to craft compelling talking points and identify potential audience questions

Hack: The more specific your prompts to Claude, the better your speaking points will be. This cuts your prep time in half while making your presentation more impactful!
