1. The FIRST hybrid model: Claude is Smarter, Chattier, and Now on Mobile
   

   Anthropic’s Claude 3.7 Sonnet is here, and it’s bringing big upgrades. The new "extended thinking" mode lets you peek inside the AI’s thought process, like a behind-the-scenes look at how it reasons. The model achieves state-of-the-art performance on coding benchmarks, outperforming competitors like o1, o3-mini, and DeepSeek R1.  It also now supports dictation in 12 languages (English, French, German, Japanese, Russian, and more). Anthropic also launched Claude Code, a command-line coding agent in limited research preview. 
   💡 Fun fact: They used the classic Pokémon Red game (originally released on the Game Boy) as a test environment for its Claude 3.7 Sonnet.

2. Grok 3’s Censorship Mess

   Elon Musk’s Grok 3 AI got caught dodging Trump and Musk’s names in misinformation discussions. Right after, xAI quickly removed the filter, with their engineering lead admitting it didn’t match their values. But that wasn’t the only issue—earlier, Grok 3 even suggested Trump and Musk deserved the death penalty (massive, oof). xAI fixed it fast, but the drama fueled ongoing debates about AI bias.
   Here’s where things get interesting, Musk originally branded Grok as an "anti-woke" AI, yet past versions have leaned left on topics like diversity and inequality. The irony is strong with this one. 😬
   

3. Meet Protoclone: The Robot That’ll Haunt Your Dreams

   Polish startup Clone Robotics just unveiled Protoclone—a freakishly realistic humanoid that’s creeping everyone out. Unlike typical robots, this one has translucent skin, exposing synthetic muscles, bones, and tendons underneath. With 200 degrees of movement, 200+ sensors, and 1,000 artificial muscle fibers, it’s eerily lifelike. Social media is not okay, with reactions ranging from "Can you at least draw a smiley face on it?" to "Well, it was nice being human while it lasted." Protoclone allegedly walks—but Clone Robotics hasn’t shown it yet.
   With the recent release of Helix, the robot that listens and performs instructions independently, and Protoclone, a hyper-realistic robot, the line between sci-fi and reality is blurring fast.
