What Happened (Mar 2026):
Google just made it easier for users to move to Gemini without losing the context they built up in other AI tools.
What You Need to Know:
Users can now import preferences and chat history from other chatbots through the new Import option in Gemini settings.
Users can now go to Settings → Import in Gemini and bring over preference summaries from another chatbot
It gives Gemini a better shot at becoming someone’s main AI by lowering one of the biggest barriers to switching.
Why It Matters:
In AI, your history is your lock-in — and Google is trying to break that.

What Happened (Mar 27, 2026):
Anthropic’s unreleased flagship model, Claude Mythos, was accidentally revealed after internal launch materials were left exposed in a public data cache.
What You Need to Know:
A CMS error exposed unpublished assets, including a draft post describing Mythos as Anthropic’s most capable model yet.
The leak suggests Mythos sits in a new “Capybara” tier above Opus, meaning it could be bigger, stronger, and more expensive to run.
Anthropic reportedly warned the model is far ahead in cyber capabilities, raising concerns that it could help attackers move faster than defenders.
Why It Matters:
The next wave of AI progress may bring bigger security risks right alongside bigger capability gains.
