What Happened:
OpenAI is finally set to roll out GPT-5.6 tomorrow, after a very non-casual delay involving U.S. government concerns. The new family has three models: Sol for the big-brain tasks, Terra for everyday work, and Luna for fast, cheaper usage.
What to watch:
Does Sol actually feel smarter? Benchmarks are cute, but we care if it’s better at coding, research, strategy, and messy real-world tasks.
Does Terra become the new default? If it matches GPT-5.5 at lower cost, this could be the model most people use daily.
Does Luna make AI feel fast again? Expect it to power quick summaries, support bots, automations, and lightweight workflows.
Does Codex level up? OpenAI has been pushing coding hard, so we’re watching if GPT-5.6 makes agents better at finishing actual work.
How restricted will it feel? This launch already had government-review drama, so safety limits and access tiers will matter.
Why It Matters:
The AI race is no longer just about who has the smartest model. It is also about who gets to use it, who approves it, and how risky it looks before the public even gets a turn.

🕵️ A Rogue Google Chatbot Could Have Gone Full Intern-From-Hell
What Happened:
Varonis Threat Labs found a vulnerability in Google Cloud’s Dialogflow CX, the platform companies use to build customer-service chatbots and voice agents. The bug, called Rogue Agent, could have let attackers mess with enterprise chatbots from the inside. Google has patched it, and Varonis says there’s no sign it was used in the wild.
What You Need to Know:
The issue was inside Code Blocks, a feature that lets developers add Python logic to chatbot workflows. With the right edit access, an attacker could sneak malicious code into the agent pipeline.
A compromised bot could potentially read conversation history, access session details, and send fake chatbot replies — like asking a customer to “reauthenticate” and then quietly stealing credentials. Customer support, but with villain music.
The scary part is that this wasn’t really “AI got tricked by a prompt.” It was more boring and worse: the system around the AI trusted too much, shared too much, and gave one small workflow way too much power.
Why It Matters:
AI agents are no longer just answering FAQs. They’re starting to touch customer data, backend systems, payments, workflows, and real company operations.
