OpenAI released GPT-Realtime-2, GPT-Realtime-Translate, and GPT-Realtime-Whisper, massively upgrading live AI voice interactions.

Realtime-2 brings GPT-5-level reasoning into live speech, allowing AI to think, talk, and use tools simultaneously during conversations.
OpenAI also launched a live translator for 70+ languages and a streaming transcription model for real-time speech processing.
Companies like Zillow, Priceline, and Deutsche Telekom are already using the models for customer support, travel agents, and real estate assistants.
