What Happened (Apr 1, 2026):
Anthropic accidentally exposed the source code behind Claude Code, leaking roughly 1,900 files and more than 500,000 lines of code into a public registry.
What You Need to Know:
Anthropic said it was human error, not a security breach, and that no customer data or model weights were exposed.
Developers quickly found unreleased features and internal systems, including memory tools, deeper planning workflows, and internal model references.
The leak spread fast: GitHub mirrors surged, Anthropic issued takedowns, and the incident landed just days after the separate Mythos leak.

OpenAI officially closed a $122 billion funding round at an $852 billion valuation, making it the biggest private funding round on record.

Amazon, Nvidia, and SoftBank anchored most of the round, with Amazon reportedly committing up to $50B and some terms tied to future AGI milestones.
OpenAI said revenue has reached $2B per month, with enterprise now contributing 40%+ of that and growing fast.
