OpenAI released a 13-page policy paper outlining how society should prepare for superintelligence and its economic impact.
What You Need to Know:
The paper suggests taxing AI-driven profits and creating a sovereign-style wealth fund that pays dividends to citizens.
Other ideas include a 4-day workweek, “Right to AI” access, and portable benefits that follow workers across jobs.
It also calls for safety frameworks and containment plans as AI systems become more autonomous.
