The Google I/O 2026 Part-II
The most hyped annual event 🏆

Hey AI Geeks,
We’re still recovering from what happened at the Google I/O.
And while we do that, here’s Part 2 of the updates, as promised. If you missed Part 1, catch up here.
Here's everything they announced that we didn't cover yesterday. ⬇️
The best prompt engineers aren't typing. They're talking.
Power users figured this out early: speaking a prompt gives you 10x more context in half the time. You include the edge cases, the examples, the tone you want — because talking is fast enough that you don't skip them.
Wispr Flow captures everything you say and turns it into clean, structured text for any AI tool. Speak messy. Get polished input. Paste into ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, or wherever you work.
89% of messages sent with zero edits. 4x faster than typing. Works system-wide on Mac, Windows, and iPhone.
☀️ Daily Brief: Your morning sorted before you even open your eyes

Sitting quietly inside the Gemini app is honestly one of the most underrated things Google announced all week.
Daily Brief wakes up before you do. It pulls your urgent emails from Gmail, cross-references your Calendar, and hands you a skimmable morning digest with prioritised tasks, suggested next steps, the stuff that actually matters, before you've even made coffee.
And it learns. Thumbs up a suggestion, it does more of that. Thumbs down, it adjusts. Over time it gets eerily accurate about what you actually care about.
This isn't for tech people. This is for everyone. It's the feature your mum will use every single day without realising it's AI.

Gemini is no longer just an app on your Android. It's the operating layer underneath everything.
It can see your screen, understand what's on it, and act across apps — without you doing any of the steps. Open your Notes app with a grocery list, say "order this on Instacart" — Gemini opens the app, finds every item, picks your usual brands, and stops only for your fingerprint before checkout.
A few other things that quietly landed:
Build a custom home screen widget just by describing it out loud.
Theft detection that locks your phone the instant someone grabs it and runs.
Best one: Quick Share now works with iPhones via QR code.
Android just got a whole lot smarter. And a whole lot harder to leave.
🖼️ Google Pics: Move objects in photos. With your voice.

Now baked natively into Google Drive, Slides, and Docs — no separate app needed.
Google Pics treats every element inside a photo as its own object. Select the dog. Make it a cat. Move it across the frame. The AI rebuilds the background, the shadows, the lighting — seamlessly — around the change.
It can also read text embedded inside a photo — a street sign, a birthday cake, a foreign menu — and let you edit or translate it without touching the original font or design.
This is inside your Google Slides deck. Right now. Quietly. Waiting.
🔍 Google builds you a real time visual dashboard, powered by Antigravity

The search box you've used for 25 years just became something completely different.
Ask Google to plan your weekend it doesn't return links. It builds you a live interactive planner, pulling your calendar, your preferences, local weather, all into a custom interface right there on the results page.
Ask about black hole physics and you get a 3D model you can actually spin, not a Wikipedia paragraph.Watch full demo here
And Agentic Booking is live. Search can now check availability, contact businesses, and lock in reservations for restaurants, appointments, home services. No account needed. No phone call. You just asked.

🚀 Google built a tool that writes software so you don't have to

Okay, stay with us on this one.
Google announced Antigravity and the simplest way to describe it is this: you describe what you want to build, and AI builds it. No coding. No developers. No six-month product roadmap.
At I/O, they demoed it live. Someone described an idea out loud. Antigravity spun up multiple AI agents working simultaneously like a whole team of developers and built a functioning piece of software in minutes.
The moment that got everyone talking? They used it to build an entirely new operating system from scratch. Then I wrote a game to run on it. Total cost: under $1,000.
For context that would have taken a team of engineers months. Maybe years.
So what does this mean for you if you're not a developer?
It means the app idea you've had for three years but could never afford to build? That's now a very different conversation.
It means small businesses can build internal tools without hiring a tech team. Creators can build products. Founders can ship faster than ever before.
Google didn't just make coding easier. They made coding optional.
📺 Just ask YouTube where the good bit is
No more scrubbing through a 20-minute tutorial hoping you land on the right 45 seconds.
Ask YouTube a specific question and Gemini pulls the exact timestamped clips from across the entire platform that answer it — plus a written step-by-step. Keep asking follow-ups. It keeps getting more precise.
Same thing now inside Google Photos. "Show me the photos of my daughter playing football in the rain last spring." It finds them. No scrolling. No guessing. Just found.
🌀 Oh, and they predicted a Category 5 hurricane 5 days before it hit

WeatherNext Google's meteorological AI, called it when traditional models couldn't.
Hurricane Melissa. Category 1 to Category 5. Direct landfall in Jamaica. Predicted five days in advance with 80% confidence. Every other model got it wrong.
Communities had real extra time to evacuate because an AI saw it coming first.
That's the quietest, most important thing Google announced at I/O. Buried under all the product launches is a model that's already saving lives.
The thread running through both parts
Daily Brief. Android 17. Google Pics. Agentic Search. Ask YouTube. WeatherNext.
Every single thing Google showed this week pointed at the same idea — AI that doesn't sit there waiting for you to ask it something. AI that's already working, already watching, already acting — on your behalf, across your entire digital life.
The chatbot era is over. Google didn't just close the door on it.
They locked it. And kept walking.
