What Happened (Mar 17–18, 2026):
Google expanded Personal Intelligence in Gemini to all U.S. users, moving the feature beyond paid tiers and making it free across Gemini, Chrome, and AI Mode in Search.
What You Need to Know:
The feature connects Gemini to apps like Gmail, Photos, YouTube, and Search to generate more personalized answers.
It was first announced in January and had been limited to paid users before this wider rollout.
It is off by default and requires users to explicitly opt in, with Google emphasizing user control over connected data.

Gamma rebuilt its template system so users can refresh entire decks without breaking the original design structure.
The company is also embedding Gamma into ChatGPT, Claude, and workflow tools so people can create presentations and assets without switching apps.
