First, we got Perplexity for Google and now we have Grokipedia for X, this month, an AI-powered encyclopedia with 885,000 articles that crashed within hours of launch.
Many articles appeared copied directly from Wikipedia, while others whitewashed extremism and pushed Musk's personal views.
Why Wikipedia’s twin ? Elon Musk didn’t even hesitate to make Grokipedia ai cloned pages from Wikipedia.
OpenAI launched ChatGPT Atlas, a full-featured web browser with ChatGPT integrated directly into the browsing experience(does carry a bit of security risks tho)
Atlas features "browser memories" that remember details from your browsing history and an agent mode that can perform multi-step tasks on your behalf.
The browser is currently available for macOS. Windows, iOS, and Android versions are coming soon, and represents OpenAI's direct challenge to Google Chrome's dominance
